Somerset Wood Products was started in 1967 as a millwork shop for a local general contractor. Today with the Bloch family still at the helm since 1969, Somerset Wood Products has evolved into one of the leading architectural woodworking firms in the tri-state area. Our present manufacturing facility and offices occupy over sixteen thousand square feet, and is manned by some of the most experienced craftsman in the area. Our average shop employee has over 20 years of experience in there field and work closely with our drafting and project management staff to bring you the best quality product for your individual needs.
Somerset Wood Products is a Premium Grade manufacturing and finishing facility had been certified by the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Quality Certification Program.
Here at Somerset Wood Products we realize that preparation for our work is as important as our product. Both our project management staff and installers work closely with the General Contractors and Owners to insure that the space is built to optimize the look as well as functionality, of our millwork. By forming this “Partnership” in the early stages of the project our design can evolve to further enhance this performance. Using the latest versions of AutoCad we provide very detailed drawings to clarify all aspects of the job so that any potential issues can be resolved long before the first piece of millwork is installed.
